Six people completed requirements for certificates this year, four in Teaching and Learning and two in Leadership Development.
“The certificate programs are fairly rigorous,” said Dr. Carolyn Curtis, Vice President for Academic Affairs, “requiring no small amount of effort to complete. I congratulate the recipients this year for their dedication to their own professional development.
“The program, itself, calls for a great deal of coordination — pulling together courses that are needed, finding people to teach them, and scheduling participants and rooms. I would like to thank the Center for Effective Teaching staff, especially Caelynn Prylo and Tara Farley, for its hard work in putting together a program this year of nearly 50 workshops, most of which were applicable to the certificates,” Dr. Curtis said.
